Smile Shines Wet (2026)
Akio Fukushima's directorial debut follows the lives of a young girl and her grandfather who, in the aftermath of an earthquake, search for a way forward together. A lushious but delicate score of felt-piano, strings and electronics, featuring the unmistakable vocals and cello of Hannah Moule.
Smile Shines Wet made the official selection for four BAFTA nominating film festivals, and most recently screened at the British Film Institute on the South Bank.
